Lessons from Faculty: Global Leadership Abroad in Stockholm, Sweden

Currently, I am co-leading a study abroad in Stockholm, Sweden for the month of May.  I am a faculty member in the leadership studies program at Iowa State University. We teach global leadership and offer students to enroll in 2 courses over a month period: LD ST 370: Global Leadership and LD ST 333 Women and Leadership.  The trip consists of 17 students in a variety of majors and college classifications. We arrived May 11th and will leave for the US on June 11th. This blog will serve as an archival of my experience as a faculty member on the trip.

My course – LD ST 333 specifically examines the state of women’s leadership within the US and globally.  We center our understand and framework through Sweden’s progress stance on women in leadership during this trip.  https://iastate.box.com/s/tzoeyumpefcdtcpw9ncvx8e71v05adpx
